Have you ever wanted to grow your business out of Singapore? Personally, as a Lead Generation Agency in Singapore and also a trainer for Facebook Advertising Course, I have always wanted to see how I can expand my scope beyond Singapore because I believe that you can make a living in staying in Singapore, but to make a killing… you need to get out of Singapore.
We as Singaporean business owners need to make our mark oversea and bring the glory back to Singapore. And you know what? We are highly fortunate that our government (IE Singapore) believe in that vision too.
MRA (Market Readiness Assistance) Grant is a grant by IE Singapore with the vision to help local SMEs expand oversea. The grant allows you to claim up to 70% of your expenses, limited to a claim of SGD20,000 per fiscal year. It covers categories of Market Assessment, Market Entry, Business Matching, Overseas Marketing & PR Activities and Online Marketing Activities.
Now being a Lead Generation Agency in Singapore, naturally the thing that caught my attention is Online Marketing Activities and honestly, the details of this segment really blow my mind! It is the only grant that I know off that allows a business to directly claim on online advertisement (Legally… Yes, I know there are a lot of hanky panky going on in the market but this is fully legal and we only do legal stuff), which is usually the fastest yet inexpensive option to capturw market share.
Imagine this possibility… You are now already in, or looking to expand your operations to a region with a concentration of your target market. What if before starting your operation, you are able to launch a lead generation campaign to either test the actual acceptance of the market or even receive pre-order even before your operation is fully setup?
This operation could have easily cost SGD30,000 but now you are able to get an actual feel of the market and even pre-orders, that will bring you actual ROI, with a mere SGD10,000.
Honestly, if you are thinking of launching your operations out of Singapore or already have an existing operation and wish to expand it, I urge you to look into it now. From my past experience, it typically takes 3 – 4 weeks to get approval from the authority. But do read the instruction clearly. You should only sign off with your chosen agency AFTER you get approval. My fellow Business Owners, lets move forward together and bring glory to Singapore & Your Family.
From a Fellow Singaporean,
